Getting to Campus:
Explore various transportation options on the Getting to Campus page. Walking is a pleasant way to get around most of the year, especially with the campus’s pedestrian-friendly design. You will also find detailed information on the University Park campus maps site.
Biking:
Biking is popular in State College, given the well-maintained bike paths and bike racks available throughout campus. Please note that all bikes must be registered. This can be done at any kiosk center located around campus. The closest one is located at the Eisenhower Auditorium.
Parking:
Postdocs receive a Faculty/Staff ID- be sure to consult with your department for specific details on parking recommendations. For more information, visit the Faculty/Staff Parking page.
Campus Transit Services:
Penn State offers five convenient, no-fare campus transit options available to everyone. Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) operates three of these routes: the Blue Loop, White Loop, and Red Link. Transportation Services operates two shuttles: the Campus Shuttle via College Avenue and the Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue.
