This orientation will help new postdocs navigate their roles, understand key resources, and form connections. It will be led by Dr. Jennifer Nicholas, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs Director, and include several breakout sessions during which you'll get to know many postdocs across disciplines.

Participants will learn or refresh skills to proactively manage mentoring relationships, adopting practices recommended by the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research.
While the focus is on new postdocs, returning postdocs are welcome to attend.
Note: This training has been selected as a Provost Endorsement Program. If you choose to extend the mentorship training through reflective activities post-orientation, you can gain a certificate in mentorship.
