About Us
At Penn State, OPA sits within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research. The OPA director reports to Dr. Douglas Wolfe, Associate Vice President for Research and Director of Strategic Initiatives. Jennifer “Jenn” Leedy is the administrative assistant for Dr. Wolfe and a graduate student at the School of International Affairs.
Office of Postdoctoral Affairs Director
Dr. Jennifer Nicholas directs the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at Penn State, where she leads university-wide career and professional development programming, skill training, personalized career coaching, and engagement initiatives. She also supports faculty mentors and institutional policy development. With expertise in strategic change management, she helps shape the future of postdoctoral scholars and fellows. Jennifer holds a PhD in Workforce Education and Development from Penn State, a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training from Seattle University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Social Relations from Earlham College.
