Offices and Groups Who Serve Postdocs
- Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) – The OPA oversees all postdoctoral scholars and fellows.
- The Directorate of International Student and Scholar Advising– International Postdocs must visit the Scholars Advising office of DISSA within three days of arriving.
- National Postdoctoral Association–The national organization who advocate and support postdocs
E-Mail Mailing Lists
L-PSPS – This list is for official PSPS and OPA communication. This list serve is used by the OPA and the PSPS council to communicate announcements, event reminders, opportunities. New postdocs will be added automatically to the L-PSPS list serve upon arrival. Assistant Research Professors will have to self-identify and contact postdoc@psu.edu to request to be added.
L-POST-DOC-COMMUNITY – This list may be used by any postdoc to communicate with the entire postdoc community (e.g., moving sales, etc.). New postdocs will be added automatically to the L-POST-DOC-COMMUNITY list serve upon arrival. To email the list, send an email to L-POST-DOC-COMMUNITY@lists.psu.edu.
